    I got one 2 months ago and it work great
    6 cells battery can work >5hrs with wifi on and backlight turns to min.,
    OS = Ubuntu
    CPU = T6600 2.2Ghz
    Ram = 4G
    HD = 250G 5400rpm
    wifi = intel 5300
    screen = LED backlight

    Yes, I agree....it's just been an awesome little notebook....my only complaint is sound from the external speaker, but headphones are fine which I use anyway....I'd like to put an intel 6300 wifi card in this, but I've never had this one open.....anyone?

    I think the major reason for long battery life is the LED display.

    to all owners of the vostro 1220, has there been any problems with laptop overheating? im looking into buying of one of these laptops but im worried that since it's so small it might have overheating problems?
    also, where could i find some coupons for the dell business outlet? im keeping my eye on a particular model but if theres a coupon out there i might just buy. thx for the help!

    I have had no overheating at all. The computer does get a bit warm, but the fan displaces the heat very well and assuming I am not doing anything really intensive, the computer will cool down within a few minutes. Also, the only place where it does get warm is the touchpad and palm rest area, but nothing scalding. Hope that helps.

    thx compsavy for replying aprox what temps do you get under normal load? if you don't mind sharing some numbers.... I'm currently using an hp dv3t and under normal load I get around 120-140 degrees F since the weather is getting pretty hot lately
