Hi there! I was wondering whether someone here managed to install the Webcam Central software for the camera.
I really enjoyed the possibility to change the Camera's contrast etc depending on the light conditions.
    I am using Win7 x64 Ultimate.

    Thanks in advance

yes, although i think you need the cd to install the original package before you can install any of the updates. please PM me if you need a copy of the CD, as I have it iso'd/zipped.

Request to the moderators. Now that win7 is publicly available, there is no reason to maintain this forum as separate from the e6400 owner's lounge. I suggest that it be combined and this closed with a link provided to that forum (part II) at the bottom of the page.

    Any disagreement?

I disagree I don't think it would be appropriate to do this, as this is not a few posts this is 48 pages. Imagine you do a conversation on a topic at the E6400 forum, and then you have a big block, off topic, of conversation that just appears between your conversations, it doesn't work.

no, but every conversation about win7 on the e6400 is necessarily related to the e6400, no? it wouldn't be off topic at all. just would have more topics. as it is, i never know which forum now to post things on, and i would imagine that no one else would either. besides, the owner's lounge is spinning down anyway, it doesnt get nearly the activity it once did.

I also think it makes sense to keep this separate and active for some time to come.

Then anyone thinking of moving their E6400 (or other E series) to W7 have one main point of reference without wading through all the other E6400 issues that get discussed in the lounge.

    Deear veritas72!

Thanks for your kind offer. Somehow, it seems that I am unable to send PMs. That might have something to do with my posting count (I know from some other fora that you have to have a certain amount of postings before you can send PMs).
Can you send me a PM instead?

Other than that, I recently discovered that my mouse is frozen, when I come back from the sleep mode. The keyboard works perfectly fine it's just the mouse pad and the trackball that do not work. Upon a restart everything works fine again. However, I do not experience this error every time I come back from the sleep mode. It seems like a driver issue to me.

Have you guys experienced the same problem?
