yeah, as mentioned before (at some point), a bunch of us were experiencing that issue. I forget the resolution off hand, other than to say whatever drivers are available still clearly have bugs. here is the link (good for 7 days) : https://www.yousendit.com/download/TzY0b240WlRFc0ozZUE9PQ -- if anyone needs it after the 7 days, just PM me or post in this forum.

I was having the same issue but I started using the vista driver and I haven't experienced the problem since (it's been a few days now).

Sounds good. So, what device did you install the vista driver for?

    Thanks

The touchpad. Just uninstall your current ones and install the ones from the dell website that say they are for vista.

Thanks! I figured it had to do with it since my bluetooth mouse kept working properly...

Anyone else having a mutli-colored, checkered, blinking screen right after you boot-up or come from sleep and just before the windows logon screen comes up? I'm fairly certain it is a driver issue, I'm thinking of uninstalling the driver and re-installing it to see what happens. I have the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M. Sorry if this has already been covered, I searched for multicolored and checkered, but I got nothing.

Anyone having problems with their touchpoint? The buttons for it work, but the the actual pointer is only working for a few minutes after starting up for me... Any ideas?

I don't get this. I use Nvidia Geforce Mobile drivers, from Nvidia website.
If you wonder what specific driver version I use: 195.39 (beta) - for WIndows 7 64-bit.

    What Windows are you using?
