Mines going to end up being 10 days with a weekend pushing final delivery out to Monday. Glad I ordered when I did. seems the Vostro are getting a hammering now from all the Inspiron refugees :)

Hey everyone! Just registered on this site and I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. I ordered a Vostro 1500 last weekend and it's sitting in Connecticut (I live in Massachusetts) right now. DHL says the estimated delivery date is the 27th so I hope it comes on that day. I assume it doesn't matter what the company name is right? I'm having the laptop delivered to my house address.

EDIT: Forget the last few parts. The laptop just came!

Yeah, it just came about 15-20 minutes ago! I'm pretty surprised. Is there a reason why the Vostros usually come in a lot earlier than the Inspirons (I understand the whole thing about the lids)?

Mine appears to skip when WMP11 reaches the top of the CPU usage (measured in Task Manager)

I find that WMP11 uses almost an entire core when scrolling through songs.
