why you guys don't take the high resolution screen on your laptop ?

 

I coudlnt afford anymore than a 1280 x 800

 

so you mean that the dell automated order status is incorrect cause i've been waiting for a week and its still in the building stage

 

Most of us got smaller laptops than you did.

I have a 15.4" screen and 1440x900 display. I bet you got the 1680x1050 for your 17".

all that for only 700 dollars (after tax) and a very sleek and sturdy black notebook, was too good to let pass

the only downside was you had to get the XGA+ screen, and earlier in the thread i noticed someone not to happy with the + screen, so hopefully this wasn't this cheap just because they were trying to dump faulty screens haha

maybe others with the XGA+ screens can help ease my worries

 

no I got the WUXGA (1920x1200)

 

My DHL tracking number finally showed up but it doesn't really tell me where it is. It is coming out of Nevada; and living in AZ I am hoping it comes TOMORROW since it left yesterday
