    Just checked my vostro 1500 WXGA+ and it's a Grainy/muddy/dirty/ looks like crap AUO2077

    And it does look like it's a cheap coating on the screen that's causing these screens to look muddy.

    my girl fiend order a 1500 at the same time with the 1680x1050 resolution ... you can take it with yours too !

    ordered 29.08.07 EDD 21.09.07 :( oh well 3 weeks isnt so bad, but i may give CSR a ring see if i can get anywhere.

    Vostro Build times and delivery for US purchasers are excellent. i got mine in 6 days.

    Granted I hate the screen. Time to put the warranty to work :)

    1440x900 is already a higher DPI than what I'm use to... also, I don't think the 1680x1050 is good for gaming on a 8400M GS.

    so far i havnt seen a person that has to wait longer than me, ordered 14/8 and wont arrive on 10th of sept, should i call dell and get some credits in the process? but the ESD was the same from the day i ordered it and it went into production on the same day

    They dont have to give you anything because its in you time, but you could give some story that you really need it for college or whatever and just slightly hint to compo if they dont pick up on the hint chances are they wouldnt give you anything anyway.

    Has there been any resolution to the headphone jack & screen graininess issues that i've read so much about on these forums? I really want to order my vostro but either of those problems would be unacceptable to me...
