Just use your first and last name as the company name. You could be self employed, they don't know, and I don't thinnk they care. Worked for me with no issues. Also has worked for many others on this board.

Ack! It has an HDMI port! I wonder if that means the Insp1420/Vost1400 replacement will also get HDMI port? I really want that feature... too bad I just bought my 1400 :(

    Hi,
I'm thinking about a vostro 1700. I know people say it looks better in real life than in the photos, but in case I'm disappointed when it arrives, I was thinking about a laptop skin a bit like this:
    http://www.lapjacks.com/PRD_ProductDetail.aspx?cid=302&prodid=3457&product=Meadow-contrast
what do you think? It is the 'Dell' circular logo on the back raised or recessed? Or is it flat with the rest of the cover? I guess it will only work if it's completely flat...
they don't have the vostro as a model to choose from, but they do have an option for specifying in centimetres the height and width.
Is the back of the laptop flat, or does it have a slight curve to it, as obviously this will affect how well the skin adheres?

Garentee you that it does look better in real life than in the pics. That being said it does not appeal to every one tell you the truth i had the same fear when i ordered mine but now that it is here i love the all black look.

to your question yes the dell logo at the back of the screen is recessed slightly so that may be an issue with sticking something onto the back of the screen.
