Has anyone used HWMonitor 1.12 (64-bit) on their M6400?

The M6400 has always 4 DIMMS you can put ram into. When you order 4GB in 4 DIMMS you get 4x 1GB... 2x 1GB rams are cheaper than 2GB... a single 4GB ram would be even more expansive..

Why would it go fizzle? The mobo seems designed to downclock given a lower power adapter.

Anybody ever have problems with their dock? Sometimes I have to put the notebook on a couple of times for my 2408wfp monitor to work with it.

Sometimes there are monitor issues - either it doesn't output to my external monitors - so I have to press the FN-F8 keys to switch it on, and occasionally the external monitors default to 1024x768 rather than the 1920x1200 - but still no hassle changing it.

And you loaded the 64 bit program? I don't know if the site is displayed the same everywhere or not and see they have two downloads, one for 32 and one for 64. I get the site it German and takes me a bit of looking around, as I speak nor read a word of it but eventually figured out vat is vat.

    Hello all,

Another M6400 question from me... Is there any way to get the Matte LED screen in the covert case? I quite like the colour on the Covert but don't want a glossy screen.

    Is that possible?

    Regards,
    Simon

i dont think so. one guy ordered it with a glossy screen, and then threatened to return it because it was too glossy for him. dell said they'll see if they can dispatch a non e2e bezel so it would make it non glossy....or something like that.

i dont know how it turned out. why dont you just call dell and ask them?

I did call them. And got told it was a Matte screen, which we all know it isn't.. Well it kind of is, but I don't want the glass.

After mentioning this everything got messy :)

    Regards,
    Simon
