I'm 99.9% sure he got that price with a 25% off coupon.

3KPRKX6KBRM$10 . This was just released today.

With that said, the cheapest one I can get it down to is about $640 with the coupon. Looks like the SSD ones priced at ~$700 pre-coupon are all gone.

Search for 9.5mm thick SATA burners. The E4300 / E4310 / E6400 / E6410 / E6500 / E6510 all use this size. If a simple search for those doesn't bring up many options then look in the SATA drive section of the Dell E series downloads. The list of firmware updates will give you some model numbers.

Will this work? It's the same one used in the Macbook apparently.

I can't see why it wouldn't work although Dell has never used a slot-load drive in the Latitudes, probably because they are too temperamental (you will be relying on software to do any ejecting). I fitted a slot-loader into my notebooks about 3 years ago but after I had to remove it and dismantle it to retrieve a disc, I decided that tray-loading burners are less hassle.

Click here and then select CD/DVD (not the SATA section that I put in my previous post) to see some compatible burners (those with DVDRW at the end of their name). There's also the HLDS GU10N that came in my E6410.

I am assuming that your E4310 has a CD drive pre-installed so you can swap the fixing bracket from it to the new burner.

I must have somehow missed the checkbox for the 375 Bluetooth module, as I don't have it and it's not in my confirmation.

Is it possible to add the 375 Bluetooth module myself, and if so, are there directions anywhere to do so? Is it an easy process?

Read the service manual and decide how easy it is.

Doesn't look bad at all, except for removing the display assembly. That part makes me a bit nervous. I have to install the backlit keyboard, so figured I would look into the bluetooth while I was at it. Seems to be fairly cheap on ebay.

I found the Bluetooth 375 module but don't see the ribbon cable. Is it needed and any clue where I can find one?

I have just bought this one for my wife. But after she talking with her 2 colleagues, she is complaining about it. They told her that Dell is not good buy. They both used Dell and fails. And they just think the price 607 after tax are too high to buy a Dell. What are they thinking? I believe they just used the the Inspiration.
How to let her believe it's a good buy and it doesn't matter to buy a refurbished computer?
By the way, could someone express where are the refurbished laptop from?
    Thanks!

well I think you already know what to tell your wife ;)

Inspirons are garbage compared to Latitudes.
